1 dessert apple, peeled, cored and chopped
1 pear, peeled, cored and chopped
150ml of child's usual milk
1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
Put the apple, pear and milk in a saucepan. Bring to the boil, reduce the heat, cover and simmer until soft. Mix in the lemon juice. Purée into a smooth consistency, check the temperature and serve.
