While they take a little longer to prepare than pre-packaged alternatives loaded with sugar, they are simple to make and will supercharge your toddler with all the vital nutrients they need. Fill their tummies with these healthy powerhouse snack ideas and set your toddler up for a balanced diet for years to come.

8 slices wholegrain or multigrain bread, crusts removed 20g olive oil spread 125g can corn kernels, drained 1/3 cup (35g) coarsely grated reduced fat cheddar cheese 50g ham slices, finely chopped 1/3 cup grated green capsicum 4 eggs 1/2 cup prepared S-26 GOLD® TODDLER milk drink

200g medium sweet potato, peeled and chopped 2 tsp hummus 400g canned chickpeas in water (drained and rinsed) 2 tbsp tahini 2 tbsp lemon juice 1 tbsp olive oil 1 garlic clove

2/3 cup dried apricots, chopped 1 cup self-raising flour ¾ cup plain flour 1 tsp mixed spice 1 cup brown sugar 250g carrots, grated 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 125g butter, melted 3 eggs, lightly whisked

1 sweet potato 1 zucchini 1 choko 1 parsnip Olive oil spray

1 tbsp reduced salt butter or margarine, softened 1 egg, lightly beaten 1 cup cold mashed pumpkin 2 cups self-raising flour, sifted ½ cup cheese, grated 2 tsp of dried rosemary Cream cheese, to serve

200 ml of prepared S-26 GOLD® TODDLER milk drink 2 cups self raising flour ½ tsp sugar pinch of salt 30g butter, chopped 1 portion frozen spinach, thawed (or 45g cooked and well drained fresh spinach) 4 tbsp cheese, grated A little milk for brushing

2 tbsp chocolate hazelnut spread 200g plain yoghurt 1 tsp honey ½ cup strawberries, hulled 1 banana peeled and sliced ½ pear sliced

60g fresh ricotta 45g fresh raspberries, pureed 85 ml of prepared S-26 GOLD® TODDLER milk drink 5 tbsp self raising flour 1 tbsp sugar ¼ tsp baking powder 1 egg beaten Small amount of oil for light fry
