Feeding Guide
Nutritional requirements of low birthweight infants vary according to the age, size and clinical condition of each infant.
To be used under Medical supervision.
How to Prepare
- Always wash and dry hands before preparing formula.
- Shake well before use. Do not alter product or add to product unless under medical supervision
- Remove cap and inner foil liner from bottle. Discard if inner foil liner is damaged in any way. It should be sealed and unbroken.
- Screw on sterile teat and ring or decant into sterilised bottles.
- Feed immediately, or re-cap bottle, refrigerate, and use within 24 hours. Do not freeze.
- Discard any remaining formula after a feed.
Ingredients
Alula Gold Low Birthweight 70mL RTF Ingredients
Water, non-fat milk, maltodextrin, vegetable oils (including medium chain triglycerides), lactose (milk), whey protein concentrate (milk), emulsifier (mono & diglycerides of fatty acids), long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids from single-cell sources [arachidonic acid (AA), docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)], inositol, choline, taurine, nucleotides (adenosine-5’-monophosphate, cytidine-5’-monophosphate, disodium uridine-5’-monophosphate, disodium inosine-5’-monophosphate), L-carnitine, antioxidants (ascorbyl palmitate, mixed tocopherol concentrate).
Minerals: Calcium carbonate, sodium chloride, sodium phosphate, calcium hydroxide, calcium chloride, potassium phosphate, magnesium carbonate, ferrous sulphate, zinc sulphate, sodium selenite, copper sulphate, potassium iodide,manganese sulphate.
Vitamins: Vitamin C, vitamin E, niacin, pantothenic acid, vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B6, folic acid, vitamin K, vitamin D, biotin.
Contains milk.
The protein source of Alula Gold Low Birthweight Pre-term Infant Formula is cow’s milk and whey protein concentrate.
- Do not use if seal is broken or inner foil liner is damaged in any way. It should be sealed and unbroken
- Store in a cool dry place (eg.pantry)
- Avoid prolonged storage at excessive temperatures
- Feed immediately, or re-cap bottle, refridgerate and use within 24 hours.
- Do Not Freeze
- Use-by date and batch code are located on the neck of the bottle
